Costume tip: Pick up three yards of a bright red cotton fabric, Rip it into a 12’’ wide strip and wrap that strip around the waist for a great sash. Find the middle of your fabric strip and place it at the front of your waist, wrap the ends behind you and come back to the center front, tie the ends in a knot and let the extra fabric hang down. Now tuck your pistols into your new sash for a realistically good looking pirate.
