- Washing and Care Instructions: This wig cannot be easily brushed but it can be washed if needed.. To wash, fill a large sink with cold water. Add a dash of mild shampoo and mix gently. Gently dip the wig in the shampoo mixture and swish gently for several minutes. Gently rinse the wig in cold water until all shampoo residue is removed. You can towel dry the wig to remove excess water then set aside to dry. I like to set it on a wig block but hanging it also works. Never use curling iron or heated curlers as it could melt the wig.
