- Trivia: Thing One and Thing Two are two mischievous characters from The Cat in the Hat book by Dr. Seuss. They were released from the box that the Cat in the Hat brought in to show to Conrad and Sally while their parents are away. The things caused mischief by flying kites in the house and knocking down everything in their path. They are eventually caught with a net and taken away by the Cat in the Hat who put them back in the box.
